Canon GL-2 vs Panasonic DVC-30
Hi all,
I'm looking into investing in a camera that I will be able to use to make short films and documentaries. I'm in Australia, where prosumer cameras are hideously expensive, so am looking to buy online. I have about $3,500 AU to spend on a camera. I was just wondering which of these cameras, or another, would be best for shooting short films and doco's? I have heard good things about both cameras and would like others opinions. BTW, if anyone knows any reputable online dealers that ship internationally, it would be a great help if you could let me know. Thanks in advance, Matt |

DVC30 hands down in my opinion . I have owned both and the DVC30 is my preference. Do a search for DVC30 on this forum and you will find out what others think. Construction quality is superb. It mates perfectly to my 3221 bogan tripod and 501 head, performing like they were designed for each other.
Regards, Mark |
