Help, Lense hood GL2

Hey can anyone please help me? The Sony DCR-VX2100, the lense hood on it, I like it alot better than the one that came with my GL2, just looks more agressive. So I went to sony's websight and did a 360 degree view of the camcorder and you can make the lense hood come off, and the attachments look identical to the GL2.

I just orderd it thru sony, its the same diamater lens also 58mm just like the GL2.

Has anyone ever tried this? I think it will fit, but not 100% sure.

Let me know thanks!

Kevin

No never tried or heard of anyone trying. If you like the aggressive look hows about sticking some white tooth shaped bits of plastic around the box, like teeth, and making an adaptor so you can use 2 of the clip on g3 lights, like eyes. As soon as you point your camera at anyone in the dark, they will cover their face and run.
(sorry for taking the mick but its my birth right!)

"Cap 'n Fiddle"

The Lens cap "fiddle" is one of the main things I really detest about my cammie. Canon hasn't got it right .. they will most likely NOT get it right in an XM3 either!

Grazie
