dubbing on the GL2
i've been trying to figure this out forever, and i can't get anywhere with it. i'm trying to dub audio over pre-recorded video using the GL2. i've tried using "audio in", "mic in", using an external mic, using the built in mic, dubbing from an external audio device...everything.
i'm positive that i recorded the video footage in SP mode and with 12 bit sound. and i still can't get it to work at all. any suggestions? |

It looks like nobody responded over the weekend, eh Adam?
Well, I have never personally attempted to dub audio over footage in-camera, but the procedure is outlined on, or around, page 108 of the GL2 manual. Note that you'll need to use the GL2's "Wireless Controller" to do the job, as that's the only device that features an "Audio Dub" command.

thanks for the response. i actually just figured it out late last night.
there is an audio dub button on the top of the GL2, but you need to use the "mix balance" button on the wireless remote to actually hear what you've dubbed. so i've been successfully dubbing the audio, but i just didn't know it since you have hit "st-2" on the remote to actually hear the dubbed audio. thanks again for the response! |
