Filters

Which filters would make for a good set for all around use? For that matter which filters are in your kit?

Alex,
We have 157 threads dealing with filters[/url] in this section alone. So there's already plenty for you to read.

In general, a good polarizer and a protective do-nothing filter such as a UV are the basic staples. You might also want to add a neutral density filter to supplement your single-stage onboard ND filter.

There are dozens of special effects filters that can be useful, too.

Thanks Ken. I was not aware of the "search" feature on this message board. I'll use it in the future.

Hey Ken, did the link change for the 157
threads on filters? I clicked on it and it was dead

The link pointed to the results of a Search, which apparently dissolves over time.

To reproduce the results just re-run a Search on "filter".
