GL2 Focus Lock

On the top of page 144 of the Instruction Manual it recommends to "lock the focus" for some subjects not suitable for autofocus. But I don't see anywhere else in the manual a way to 'lock the focus'. All I do is use manual focus and there is no 'locking' involved. What am I missing?

Simply disengage auto-focus.
