Newbie Tip - Print the online GL2 manual
Being a newbie, I refer to the GL2 manual often. I found it much easier to use after I printed Canon's online GL2 manual and put it into a 3-ring binder.
Now, the manual stays open when I want, or I can easily flip to any section I need. Ming |

Nice idea.
Better yet... install Adobe Acrobat reader on your Palm or PocketPC PDA and take full advantage of the search & display features of Acrobat without lugging around a whole book. Besides a phone list and calendar, this is the main utility I use on my iPaq. I'm working with a few new CGI programs and there are hundreds and hundreds of pages to these manuals and I have very little "sit-down-and-study" time. With everything loaded into the PDA, I can read up on a few features anywhere/anytime I get a break. Have fun. |

I'm going to cut mine open, remove all the other languages, and punch holes in it for a binder.
