GL2 - Plastic or Magnesium Frame?
I plan to buy a GL2 as a premium quality vacation camera for occasions when I don't want to carry the XL-1S all day.
Is the GL2 frame magnesium like the XL-1S, or plastic? It could get banged around in transit - I'd be concerned without a magnesium frame. Has anyone tried the Steady Stick on either the GL2 or XL-1S? Thanks! |

i thought i had read on here that it was all plastic , even the bottom. so i was surprized when i put an ugly little scar in mine twisting it on my DIY crane. the bottom is metal, but the rest is plastic; it does feel abit better than most other camcorders. theyre building everything out of plastic now, better get comfortable with it.
