MA 300 BNC connector
Hi guys, I'm the proud owner of a new GL-2. I bought the MA 300 Microphone adapter with it, and it allows you to "convert video signals via the BNC connector." Does anyone know what this means? I'm new to video, and pretty much understand everything on the camera except this. Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.

Welcome to DVInfo and your new GL2, Michael!
Most good production monitors (and, I understand, video distribution equipment) use BNC connectors for video signals. (This is a more secure connection than the typical RCA connections found on consumer equipment.) This is what I use the BNC video cable port for on my XL1s' MA-200 while shooting. I suspect that this is the type of application that Canon has in mind for the MA-300's BNC port.

BNC Connector
Thanks Ken, the more I get to know this camera, the more I like it. I was using a friend's Sony PD 100, and this camera has so many more useful features!
