Is the GL2 a true 60i corder?
I was looking through the PDF brochure from canon, but it doesn't say. It just says stunning NTSC and lines of resolution.
Other cameras state they are 60i, but is the GL2 one of them also? |

Yes, in "normal" mode, the GL2 is 60i.
In "Frame" mode you can achieve something similar to 30p.

It records 29.97 frames per second in frame mode. :-))

Cool. The reason I ask, is that there are projects that I want to shoot that will transfer to film, and transfer companies such as Digital Film Group require 60i to go to 35mm film.
I think the 30p Frame mode will be fine for shooting small projects that will only see the light of day on tape or dvd. |
