Display time code
Is there a way to display time code, or at least a tape counter, on a tape
dubbed from the GL 2 ? I would prefer it to be shown without any other display. |

You can obtain time code display on the composite video (analog) output form the A/V terminal. Yo will also see some additional information regarding camcorder status. Se page 150 of the manual.

On the GL1 (and GL2 for that matter) you press the "TV Screen" button on the remote to toggle the on screen display in the analog output on/off.
The information is sort of on page 35 and 95 of the GL1 manual.
