I'm going to look into getting a good quality adapter to solve the problem (how weird that it doesn't come with a stereo cable anyway...). Cheers! |

As Bryan notes, I would make the audio adjustment in post. Keeps the audio signal path more reliable - less prone to a problem, and provides a better impedance match with the mic..

Right - okay. I will go with your judgement then - you guys obviously have experience with this.
Could you quicky talk me through the procedure for splitting the audio in post - I'm using Final Cut Express on Mac. Thanks |

I can't speak for FCP - Veags here. But, i wouild think the theory is the same. In any case its not - IMHO - as case pf "splitting" the aduio its a case of "sharing" the mono audio track to the other RIGH channel on the the audio track OR as I would in Vegas PAN between the 2 speakers OR create another Audio track and COPY the same audio track to this RIGHT channel.
