Canon 1Dx MkII- System Extension Terminal
I'm researching the features on the new 1Dx, maybe I'll take the plunge into 4K soon. I have a 5D MkII and a C100 MkI with the auto focus upgrade. I noticed the quick connect audio cable on the mic/handle for the C100 looks like it would connect to the System Extension Terminal on the new 1Dx. Is this true?
If not what is the System Extension Terminal used for on the 1Dx? I can not find anything in the owners manual describing it's function or connectivity to other components. Thanks |

Re: Canon 1Dx MkII- System Extension Terminal
Hey Kevin,
That's where the WFT-E8 Wireless File Transmitter module attaches to the 1DX Mk. II body. See the first image on this page: http://www.dvinfo.net/news/fast-form...x-mark-ii.html Don't plug anything else into it! Heh. Hope this helps, |

Bummer, I was hopping to attach the handle/mic from my C100 to the 1Dx.
Thanks for the info. |
