5D III LCD live view latency
I have 2 Mark II's and just received a Mark III. The LCD has a noticeable fraction of a second lag or latency compared to the Mark II's.
Funny how no one else has mentioned this which leads me to believe I have a lemon. Anyone else notice this? |

Yes. I notice this on both mine with my DP6's.

yup, have it on both my mk3s.
I've heard it goes away if you're shooting IPB - I tend to shoot ALL-I unless I'm running out of card space in an emergency. Annoying, but you get used to it. |

Re: 5D III LCD live view latency
I have never use all I and that is why I don't see it, the bitrate for all I is not high enough and there are more noise and artifacts in it from all the comparison I saw.

Re: 5D III LCD live view latency
I shoot IPB and I see it on my DP6 all the time... not big deal really though. I notice it, but it doesn't affect me any...

Yeah, I sent it back and got the new one which is exactly the same. Oh well.
