Audio meter not showing up on quick control menu!
I used to have the audio meter show up on the quick control menu (Q button) and was able to monitor audio while recording. But all of a sudden its not showing up anymore. Look through all the menu options to see if I disabled it by accident. Couldn't figure it out. Can anyone help me on this? Thanks.

I don't recall it ever working like that on mine, in fact I thought I read where you can't monitor the levels while recording...
One way to get the level meters to come up is: Go to M on mode dial, set video/still switch to video, press MENU, select the 4th icon from the left (video settings), scroll down to Sound recording, select Auto or Manual. Meters should appear on the screen. Cannot get the meters on CA or full auto modes. HTH, Mark |

When you are in "M" you should get meters on screen by pressing the "info" and during recording you can get meters on screen and change level by pressing "Q", maybe you need to activate silent mode... it's in the meny.

Silent mode is activated. Everything else is showing up expect the audio meter. I used to get that on the screen. Strange! |
