mk3 Battery grip
Anyone know who's shipping the mk3 battery grips now? B&H has them listd for pre-order. Also, I've been tempted to try to fit the Mk2's battery grip onto the mk3 but the last thing I need to do is damage my new mk3! Anyone else tried this or know of alternatives to the rather expensive new grip?
TIA Harry

Good thing you did, Harry -- the Mk. II grip will not interface properly with the Mk. III body.

Re: mk3 Battery grip
Notice the little plastic piece that sticks out on the MII grip and its slight change on the MIII grip, all the while pressing down a tiny button on the bottom of the camera? You didn't hear from me that it works. As for stock of the BG-E11's, you can find a few for $450US due to demand, but otherwise some are on their way to the states, expected within the next 1-2 weeks if it stays on track.

Re: mk3 Battery grip
So after weeks waiting on a backordered grip I googled in stock grip sources and found 5 grips available to ship immediately......why didn't I do this three weeks ago!!
My grip is being delivered today! Bottom line - don't wait on the backordered grip (last estimate it'd be mid July before B&H whould ship any.....argh.

Re: mk3 Battery grip
Got mine from BH a week ago. I think they are shipping in order of payment.
Finally my 5D feels like a camera again!
