Does the IS in photo lenses really help prevent shaky video?
I am going to be shooting some DSLR footage with 5DMII inside a car. Looking at an IS wide angle. Do IS lenses really help with the shake?

My 24-105L lens seems to work good with the stabilizer on so yes.

IS does help but if you are using a wide angle lens is not needed so much.
