Re: has anyone heard of Pocket rig?
Yes, I used it at NAB last year. One of the best concepts I've seen, works great!

Re: has anyone heard of Pocket rig?
Just seeing the video, it strikes me as not so compatible with the Gorilla plate of the Zacuto Z-Finder. The video shows it using the CAVision loupe which depends on the sticky plate approach. YMMV.
Also, like so most shoulder rigs do, it puts the sensor in front of the POV. So in a pan, it travels on an arc around the POV. This is in contrast to putting the sensor ON the shoulder at the same point as the POV and in a pan, the sensor pivots on a point rather than traveling on an arc. |

Re: has anyone heard of Pocket rig?
I've had one of these for a month now. Works great in a pinch. Nice compact unit with rails. I use a Zacuto EVF and Z-Finder on the camera and the rig works fine with the Gorilla plate. Only problem that I've had is that under certain circumstances, the rig can twist since there is no lock pin, other than that, Edelkrone makes nice stuff. I just ordered the EVF holder.
