strange issue: clips look jerky using VLC & Zoombrowser

I shot two clips and strangely they look fine on the 5D, and once in the PC, they look fine using Windows media player and on Vegas.

now...If I try to play them using VLC or even the Canon Zoom Browser Ex the footage looks jerky and it skips frames... A LOT -- I initially thought there was some import error, but they play fine with other players...
this never happend to me in the 6 months I've owned the 5D - very strange!!!

older clips still play great with the VLC player...

any ideas of why this might be happening?

SOLVED PLEASE DELETE - I RESTARTED MY COMPUTER AND THE ISSUE DISAPPEARED
