Re: Music video shot using Technicolor CineStyle
I was doing test shots the other evening with CineStyle and encountered the banding in the shadow areas and was sadly coming to the conclusion that it was perhaps a little too flat for me. I've been playing with the Marvels Cine which seems better. It doesn't lift the shadows as much though. Seems a trade off and I guess as Jon says, for some jobs it'll be perfect, but for others, maybe stick to neutral.
Anyone any thoughts on the Marvels Cine picture style?

Re: Music video shot using Technicolor CineStyle
I've loaded it on my Camera before, but never actually tried to shoot Marvels. It always seemed it was for a finished in camera shooting picture style, which is not what I normally do. Am I wrong abou tthe intent with that PS ?

Re: Music video shot using Technicolor CineStyle
I loaded Marvels the other day. It seems very close to Natural to me. It's no where near as shallow as CineStyle.

Re: Music video shot using Technicolor CineStyle
I agree Jon, it seems to be nearer to Neutral but better I thought. Just personal I guess.
