Strange Noise from camera body durring movie record
Is it normal to have buzzing, clicking, audable electronic noise comming from the camera body while recording in movie mode?
The camera on board mic really picks up this noise but my external mounted shot gun mic also picks up the buzzing noise. I have switch the lense to manual focus while shooting movies but I think the camera is still trying to set focus. What to do? |

Re: Strange Noise from camera body durring movie record
Are you using a lens with Image Stabilization (IS)? If so, try turning IS off.

Yes, the IS was on, I'll try that.

That was it, the IS system was creating all that noise.
Thank you, |
