5d mark ii format for mac AND pc?
Hey Guys,
Quick question. I usually transcode my 5d footage to edit in premiere CS5. However due to our workflow, (half the video gets edited on pc and the other on a mac) we need a format that supports both platforms. I know neoscene works great but the AVI file isn't supported on a mac. My best option so far is to EXPORT whats been edited before editing on the other platform. Thanks! |

If you are working with Prem CS5 on both systems you might as well stay in native camera format, then pick a system to finalise on. Otherwise you may end up with gamma shifts etc.

I see... okay thanks for the reply.
I can't really edit with the native format because after a single transition its starts to freeze up. If its small quick videos its not a problem but a wedding will get frustrating. Thanks |

Avid's DNxHD was built to do this. And it's free.
