Editing 5D Footage
Hello Everyone:
I am looking for a way to edit 5D footage on my PC with Adobe Premier Pro CS3. Any suggestions for what to render the footage out as to make it more editable? I have heard of NeoScene but I was wondering if its possible to just render it out as a different format and then edit it? Hoping to not lose much quality if possible. Thanks in advance! Silas |

NeoScene is great, NeoHD is better because you can then use FirstLight. That is my answer.
But you might look at Avisynth.

Is there a way to just render it as a different format to edit right out of Adobe Premier Pro CS3?
Or a free program? |

Mpeg Streamclip. If you want to render to a .MOV file. Or try Prism if you want to make a .AVI file. Those (MOV and AVI) are containers. You are going to need a good codec to render to. There are many available. The .MOV container has many more modern codecs available. The AVI codec has a few decent ones.
