3D Lens addons

There are many prodcuts around like this: for CANON - Loreo 3D Stereo Lens - Full Frame: ViewMaster, 3D Glasses, 3D Stereo Photography
Has anybody tried it? What is the lens equivalent (35mm, 50mm, etc..) of this kind of product? Can it be used also for HD video or only for photo?

The site says is 28mm... I can't see why you couldn't use it to shoot video as well, but I don't know how good of quality it will be to have all those optics at such a low price point... and its only 28mm, so you'll always have to shoot wide angle footage.
