Alternative Aperture Control in Manual Mode
This is kind of a stills question. When in Manual mode, is the only method of aperture control using the rear wheel? Is it possible to assign a different button - for example the AE / * button? (by rear wheel I mean the large wheel closest to the lcd)
With the 7D you can control the aperture in M mode while pressing the AE / * button and rotating the shutter wheel - or also use the rear wheel. I am left eye dominant, so my face and nose press up close to the rear wheel making it difficult to change the aperture. Dug through the menu's and and manual & have not seen an option to change this. Hoping there is some in camera fix for this without having to change my hand held technique. Thanks! |
