Help importing 5DII video into CS4
Just downloaded PProCS4 but can't find option for 5DII file format. I used the 16:9 wide screen option but some part of the video was cropped out. This option is clearly marked on CS3. How do you guys edit your 5DII video with PPro cs4.

If you downloaded CS4 as a tryout I don't think it will support HD in tryout mode.....
From my understanding in tryout mode it wont support any HD content??? |

Get NeoScene from CineForm
CineForm Product Downloads It's what works best with Premier Pro CS4. It makes 10 bit avi's from the 5DMk2's H264 mov files. It's already happy with the new 2.04 version files. They then play very easily in PP CS4. Another good move is to get the freeware program 'Virtual Dub' and use the DeShaker plugin to stabilize your shots. That'll re-save in the CineForm avi codec. Works a treat. |

That explains it. PPro was a trial version. I tried NeoScene but i get no sound after conversion. I'm a newbie and i know very little about different methods to do this.

Thanks David I purchased neoscene and everything works like a champ. It looks like neoscene fixed the sound problem with their latest version. Now I have to investigate Virtual Dub freeware.
