Full DSLR video control form an iPhone
I'm not sure if anyone's posted something similar before but I've been playing around with controlling DSLR's using my iPhone and a remote desktop app today.
iPhone remote for Canon DSLR video | Paul Joy Quite fiddly, but it's possible to control recording, focus, and camera setting etc in situations where you can't go near the camera. Last edited by Paul Joy; March 27th, 2010 at 04:50 AM. |

Nice that it also enables focus during recording. I'm now wishing that my iPhone was the size of a brick like my very first mobile phone and had a huge touch screen to match! :)

I'll ask O2 to give me a free upgrade on my iphone. I just need to buy trousers with bigger pockets now to fit it in...Just like I used to wear when I first bought a mobile phone. :)
