Premiere CS4 settings for vimeo
Hi guys!
I've done some tests and uploaded some footage to viemo, but the quality is not as good as those ones I see from other 5D owners. My settings are: - h264 (mp4 file) - 640x360 pixels - vbr-2 passess 2500bps 7000bps (max) - key frame 30 The file reproduced in QuickTime is fine, but in Vimeo I see lots of compression artifacts. How do you encode your files to upload to vimeo? Thanks. Tomeu |

You can try an adobe media encoder/AME preset like Youtube HD, something like 1280x720, 5mbits or higher for video, for decent quality from the 5D with Vimeo.

Any reason you're not uploading a 720p source? Remember, they're going to re-encode your footage ANOTHER time, so you want to give something something major to chew on, heh.
BTW, have you tried Exposure Room, I think it's WAY BETTER. Video streaming always seems to stutter for me despite my massive bandwidth. ER rocks!

I didn't know they would re-encode my footage. I'll try with higer quality (720p).
Thanks. Tomeu. |
