It's not widely known. That's one guaranteed way to guess if a program has been edited in FCP by someone who doesn't really get how the program interprets material.

It also surprises me. This is a huge workflow problem and pretty badly done in fcp. It's not "showing" more moire, it's deleting half of the resolution so the image will look bad.
