Thanks so much for posting that Michael. I'm surprised that Canon didn't highlight the EXIF info as a feature in the overview on their site, but I'm really glad to be wrong.
I'll tell you what's another cool feature from that video that's not on the Canon site - the ability to burn DMG files directly to disc. Management/storage is one of the things that's still a bit of an evolution with the tapeless approach. There's something to be said about shooting 8GB cards so that you can just drag a DMG copy to a DVD and burn it in the background while ingesting just what you need in the Log and Transfer process. Very nice development. |
