This story (both videos) was all shot with 5D @ Philips, Shocked Backed to Life
I tend to use smaller lights (Zylight) and I balance with the existing lighting in the room. Using the DOF of the camera and letting the ambient lighting balance the shot, vers the background going dark, DOF lets the subject pop from the background. My lighting kit only compliments the existing lighting. In these cases corporate offices, with florescents, also window light, and mixed as well. The hospital cath lab, no kit used there, just under existing.

This is the existing style I have chosen, and as a one person crew with 5D I travel light.

A very nice job Steve. You told the story very well. The filmwork was excellent.
The only thing that bothered me was the reflection in the spectacles, but that's difficult to deal with even in a controlled environment.
