Importing 5D files to Premiere Pro 4.2.1

Hi,

I have converted 5D MOV files to AVI files using a trail version of ProspectHD 4.13 but as soon as I import the AVI files to Premiere it crashes Premier, it gives me the following message;

"Premiere Pro has encountered an error"
"[..\..\Src\Timecode.ccp-995]"

My project is in Pal Mode
and I used the default setting in ProspectHD with Frame Rate Change of 29.97 to 25.0

Any idea what I am doing wrong please?

Cheers
Mitchell

When you created your project, did you use one of the Cineform Project (sequence) presets? I downloaded the trial last night and did not have any issues. Also, you might want to post this in the CineForm Software Showcase Forum at DVinfo.net.

i thought PP can edit .MOV file. If so you don't need to use anything beside mpegstreamclip which is free. and convert the H264 to it. well i don't use PP so good luck

I agree with this. Also Cineform support is available during the trial period; you can post a trouble ticket and they should point you in the right direction.
