Documentary
I am going to be a shooting a documentary on a rock band. Some of it will be interview footage, some of it will be live footage, and some of it will be just general chatting footage..I'm thinking of getting 3 different microphones, for the 3 different scenarios..Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I highly recommend buy the following book:
Rose, Jay (2008) Producing Great Sound for Film and Video, Focal Press Not only does it provide a great introduction to the key concepts, but it helped me make good use of many of the comments from much more experienced people on forums like this one. Best wishes for the project. |
