Not bad for a first (and second) attempt. Care to share your settings for these (f-stop, shutter, ISO, all that noise)?

The really bright light in the 2nd one... moves at the same speed as the stars. Can't be the moon, right? Too bright to be a planet... what is it?

Apart from the moon, Venus is the brightest object in the night sky, so yes it could very well be a planet.
