Also, IS is said to give you a couple of stops or so. That means 1/80th to 1/125th with IS on. Having owned the 70-300 f/4-5.6 IS, this is pretty realistic.

Yes. If the subject is static.
Generally, if the AC is prop driven, then you want to blur the blades. That makes it look natural in flight. Ben |
