As for the DSLR remote app I didn't think it could trigger video yet? or are you just talking about stills?

it's only stills at this point - but if folks very nicely request it, perhaps they would enable it?

maybe this is a job for Tramm Hudson? If anyone knows what it would take to remotely push the set button on/off, it would be him.
