Dumb HDMI Question

Ok... This is embarrassing...
Do I need a "special" HDMI cable to hook my 5D2 to a monitor?
The HDMI cable I have fits right into my TV, but the other end of the cable is too large for the port on the camera?
Is there a cable similar to USB, where one end is smaller than the other?

Yikes! What a Newb question! Sorry...

You either need an adapter to mini HDMI, or a new cord with Mini on one end. I bought one of those on line for about $8.00

Thanks Chris.
I didn't even know those existed.
