Hmm... this has got me thinking about picking up a Nikon to EOS adapter and getting a manual Nikon 50mm f1.4... doable on a 7D?

yes its possible to use a nikon 50mm 1.4 and a 7d

And the results are pretty cool. Here are some frame grabs from interviews I have done recently. Was shot with an old NIKKOR-SC 50mm 1.4 on 7D.

5D2+FDs w/ jinfinance AF-confirm cheap adapter from ebay
sometimes it's not so bad either... or was i lucky when picking adapters ?
2 examples with only FDs 35-105 f3.5, FD 15 f2.8, FD 200 f2.8, TS-35 f2.8 |
