Lossless 5D2 Video Splitter App?
Does anyone know of a (preferably free) app that can losslessly split the video files produced by the 5D2? I'm NOT talking about transcoding here at all, just something simple to set in/out points and rebuild a new file via a direct stream copy. I think I've read that Streamclip can do it, but I was wondering if there were any other options people might be using.
Basically, I'd like to work a new step into my workflow where I can clip off any crap I don't want, don't need, and will never ever want in the future in oder to cut down on long-term storage and other batch transcoding downstream in my workflow. I already have some workable workflow solutions I've been using, but I'm specifically looking for a way to permanently delete parts of the source files that I will never want to archive. Thanks! |

Quicktime Pro. You can set in and out points and trim to selection. Not free, but cheap.
