Is it possible to engage ae-lock in remote live view?

Hi,

is there a possibility to engage ae-lock while in remote live view ?

I want to do remote controling of the camera with remote live view while the camera is in movie mode with exposure simulation. Basically everything works, but I just canīt find a way to lock the exposure like using the ae-lock button directly on the camera.

Any ideas ?

Thanks
Holger
