Yeah, they are pretty much impossible to find. Does anyone have any experience with the cheap knock off batteries and chargers found at "the bay"? Work, don't work, don't hold a charge, damage the camera, violate warranty?

I found one, a new, original Canon battery, on ebay sold by this place:

Should find out in a few days how well it works.
