My short experience with Eos 5D Mark II
Hi, I'm sorry if my english is bad.
I have the camera since two weeks ago. My experience is very good. I'm from Europe, so I would like to have 25 fps, but for internet, 30 is OK. I'm waiting a new firmware and may be 25 will be there. Y can control the iris aperture switching off the lens. The procedure to edit footage for me is: 1) Premiere pro 2.0 in a pc 2) Import clips to a 1920X1080 30fps project (it runs very bad) 3) Export to a 1440X1080 30fps in mpeg2 (15 min. aprox 1,5 hours rendering) 4) open a new project with the new settings. And it runs perfect. 5) edit like HDV I show you a video I uploaded to youtube. "In The park" YouTube - IN THE PARK. Filmed with Canon EOS 5D Mark II |

I'm impressed!!
Thanks for the reply. I'm looking at purchasing a 5d MII and using it for wildlife stuff. I'm currently a still photographer getting into video. I look foward to seeing more of your work. Thanks, Vince |
