New to DSLRs. Using Canon 70D for Video
I'm thinking of getting the Canon 70D as my first DSLR for shooting video. It seems like a good choice with the auto-focus: Using the Canon 70D for Video - Review - Camera Cap
Anyone have any experience? |

You have to start somewhere so I guess the 70d would be ok, might look into the 80d as that is the latest model.

Re: New to DSLRs. Using Canon 70D for Video
Current US street prices are $999 for the 70D with 18-55 IS STM lens versus $1249 for the 80D with the same lens.
Is anyone waiting for the 77D at $1049 or the T7i at $899 and spend the extra money on lenses? |

I own the canon 70d canon 80d great cameras auto dual focus the best in the business. Sent my panasonics gh4 g7 back due to not focusing correctly. See you tube complaints and all go for the canon for better focus. Good luck
