600D HDMI & USB outputs
Can anyone please tell me what the resolution is of the HDMI output and the USB output for the T3i.
I know it's not full HD - I'm wondering if it is even SD 720x480. I own a fairly old Varizoom 7 inch monitor which isn't all that great - and am wondering if I would get a better picture with a different monitor. Idea please. ??? Lilliput? Many thanks, Harry The Idiot. |

I think you will find hdmi is good quality but not full HD until you press the record button then it reverts to dv quality. If using your get a few seconds black screen while the monitor readjusts. But if you have Magic Lantern installed you can set it to always output dv avoiding the changeover.
