Lossless Video Trimming on a Canon EOS 7D
How to get rid of undesired parts of a clip quickly and without losing quality on camera (Canon 7D in this case).

I couldn't view your clip, due to bandwidth limitations on my end.
Can't you just use the PLAY button to select your clip you want to edit, then use the SET and joystick buttons to trim the beginning/end of a clip? You can save your edited clips by over-writing the original, or keep the original and save as a new file, all in-camera. It's quick and, I'm thinking, totally lossless. Mark |

Aw well, that figures. More of a "how-to" than a "how do?"
That's a nice feature though. Recover some space on the CF card and cut down on editing time later when you download the card to your NLE. Mark Last edited by Mark Watson; October 11th, 2012 at 08:53 AM. |
