Mamfrotto Sympla remote for Canon DSLR
Has anybody tried this remote for their DSLR, I think this is a good alternative to the follow focus specially if you are using a rig and that you don't need to take off your hands with the grip. It uses the mini USB on the camera, now I can't monitor my audio if I want to.

Re: Mamfrotto Sympla remote for Canon DSLR
It works very well with both my 7D and 5D mkIII. There are a few quirks but nothing that is a big red flag. Super convenient on my 12' Kessler crane! and I'm trying to figure out how to make my DP4 mount on my Glidecam vest (though I will look like a Borg) so I can focus while flying the DSLRs!
Best feature is the A-B memory location automated focus!

Robert, can you control the camera settings on the remote, like exposure and iso?
