50mm 1.4 Minolta?
Hi,
Are there any issues that may occur if I were to purchase a 50mm 1.4 Minolta + a Minolta MD MC Lens to Canon EF EOS Mount Adapter Ring to use with my 600D? For around £70-80 I could get 1.4 plus a real smooth focus ring instead of paying nearly 3 times for the canon. Yes the Canon has auto focus but I will be using the lens for video only. |

M42, Pentax K, Olympus OM and others work. Clue: for £60 you can get a Pentax Takumar SMC 50mm f/1.4. |

James, what do you think of the Pentax Takumar SMC 50mm f/1.4?
I'm looking to replace my Canon 50mm 1.8 with something a little faster and with better build quality. |

If you want to know more, just ask. It is a dream to handle, and a brilliant lens for video work. |
