T3i really nice down-res'd to DVD

Hi all,

I'm just a few weddings into my phasing in of DSLR for prep/set-up shots/photo-shoots and I've been so happy with the results. I've found, too that the footage from the T3i adapts beautifully to DVD (better than the XF300 footage down-res'd). Are others finding this, too? That is, the film-look quality of the DSLR translates better somehow even when not on HD blu-ray. I guess it's just another feather in the cap of the DSLR strengths.
