7D video - bad pixel correction?
Hello All!
I have just faced a problem with my 7D - bad pixel (i believe its hot) Its visible on the blank black screen on the photo (made with iso 1250) its a blue dot, really big i believe Also its extremely visible+ annoying on the video! Since I am about to use this 7D for wedding video I started to worry. I have heard there is a possibility to correct them somehow on the video :/? Anyone heard about it or some good idea how to terminate these annoying spots? thnx |

Re: 7D video - bad pixel correction?
do a manual sensor cleaning with the cap on for a minute. (search google for info) Use cc wire removal in after effects to get rid of the dot in your current footage.

Re: 7D video - bad pixel correction?
Its pretty easy, cc wire removal, there are two crosshairs, move one to the left the other to the right. Increase the width to about 8 (I think you will have to test it). Works great. Its basically like cloning in photoshop, you can't notice it.
