Anyone use technicolor w/ ML yet?
Initial reports seem to indicate that the Technicolor flat style is something that can't be achieved under normal circumstances - and it looks good.
Just wanted to know if anyone's had success using it for the T2 while also using Magic Lantern, or any potential issues we should be lookin' out for... |

Re: Anyone use technicolor w/ ML yet?
Thanks Chris - posted a few questions over there.
Far the T2 goes, I'll confirm it does work with ML and indeed will produce a style unachievable in the normal menus. It's as flat as they come yo. Installing it wasn't too bad - the Technicolor site actually does a pretty good job of explaining it. I didn't have to do anything special to make it work w/ ML (I have the March version), although it is a bit cumbersome to make the camera load the file - called "cinestyle" - as you must click on user 1/2/3 (whichever you're using), then manually scroll up to enable it. Once you figure it out it's easy and quick to do. Don't know if I'd use it for indoor stuff, but would def seem to help on a bright day. |
