TM900 as companion to 7D
Last week I shot some comparison shots with the 7D and the Panasonic TM900 I just purchased for wide shots and action shots. In that attempt I used a 17-50 zoom lens and made the shots quickly on both cameras and was very disappointed with my results from the 7D. Today I reran the tests with a Canon 50mm f1.8 prime and took extreme care in focusing. Although very tedious, the results were much improved which I share below:
I believe these two cameras will work very well with each as long as I play to their respective strengths. Roger |

Thanks for that Roger. I am considering the TM900 to compliment my EX1. From what I have seen of it, it is capable of producing some very pleasing footage

Colin, I imagine it would work well for those times you have an unmanned camera or otherwise don't need to use three manual rings. Used for the right situations it produces a rather stunning image. 60P is wonderful!
